Cautions:
- use of genuine parts supplied by the original gas appliance manufacturers
- make sure that there is adequate ventilation and keep the appliances away from flammable materials
- never fit/remove cartridges near naked flame or heat source
- place cartridges according to the instructions on the cartridge surface. Place them with the cartridge guide in an upright position
- remove LPG cylinders from cassette cookers if the cookers are not frequently used. Ensure storage of disposable cylinders in a dry, cool and well-ventilated location
- handle LPG cylinders with care to avoid strong shock or impact that may damage the cylinders and cause gas leakage.
- place any item not supplied by the original gas appliance manufacturer (e.g. energy-saving product, tinfoil covering and trivet) between the gas appliance and the cooking ware so as to avoid abnormal burning of the fire which may cause an accident
- use oversize plates or pans which extend over the edge of the cartridge cover
- put any flammable item or container (e.g. newspaper, pesticide, aerosol can and cigarette lighter, etc.) near the cassette cooker so as to avoid the danger of causing a fire or an explosion
- use two cassette cookers in parallel
- use cassette cookers if a gas leak or equipment damage is suspected
- leave cassette cookers switched on unattended
- use cassette cookers within commercial premises below ground level, e.g. basement kitchens, seating areas, etc.
- store LPG cylinders (including empty cylinders) with a total nominal water capacity of over 130 litres (approximately 50 kg) without the approval of the Gas Authority.
